On August 26th, 2024, we embarked on a transformative journey with the launch of the RSSDI Village Outreach Program in Village Gharbara. Spearheaded by the Research Society for Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), this nationwide initiative is designed to bring critical diabetes awareness and care to underserved rural communities across the country.
The launch was graced by the presence of two global leaders in diabetes care—Dr. Peter Schwarz, President of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), and Dr. Anuj Maheshwari, Governor of the ACP India Chapter and Executive Member of RSSDI.
