On June 29th, 2024, Dr. Amit Gupta had the honor of speaking at FIU’s Population Health Initiative. His talk, “Population Health and Global Alliances”, emphasized the critical role of international partnerships in addressing diabetes and other global health challenges.
The event brought together esteemed speakers, including Dr. Peter Schwarz (Germany), President-Elect of the International Diabetes Federation, who discussed innovation in diabetes prevention; Dr. Brij Mohan Makkar (India) on Type 2 diabetes prevention.
